1.4.2021: The Corps of the Nobility of Cantabria has begun a program to recover the memory of Emperor Maximilian I of Habsburg-Lorraine, Emperor of Mexico.
Within the framework of an international collaboration agreement, the Corps of the Nobility of Cantabrie will launch a comprehensive program of activities on Emperor Maximilian I of Mexico and the Habsburgs in Mexico, through conferences, publications and other cultural activities that, with This theme will be developed throughout the year thanks to the activity of the Pablo VI Institute.

23.3.2021: Honorable Sr. D. Louis Benjamin Ardé has joined our corporation as a new member
Honorable Sr. D. Louis Benjamin Ardé is a descendant of a branch of the House of Ardennes-Verdun and of the Capetian kings of France.
Thanks to his ancestor - Isabel Hurtado de Mendoza he is also related to the great noble houses of Spain and Cantabria. His another ancestor - Claude de Saint Mihiel, provost of Autrey in France, received a privilege from the hands of Emperor Francis I of Lorraine.
The Honorable Sr. D. Louis Benjamin Ardé joins us as a full member of the Corps of the Nobility of Cantabria, which is, from today, his home. Congratulations and welcome!

The San Faustino de Montecorvino Academy, in Italy, has initiated a collaboration with our cultural organization and in the development of such collaboration, the gentlemen of our Corporation have received the title of Academician of Merit of this academy, at the proposal of its President, Don Ondrej Stepanek, Don Alejandro Gómez and the President of our Corporation, who has also received the honorary presidency of the Genealogical Studies Center of this Academy, in reciprocity, various academics of this institution have received the title of Honorary Professor in our cultural institute.

Don Carlos Jaime Gómez Pozueta, Señor de San Miguel de Santarém, President of the Corps of Nobility of Cantabria, was nominated as an Ordinary Academic of The Lazarian Academy of the King Saint Luis IX of France.

2.1.2021: Our member - Excmo. Sr. D. Baron Pino Gino Piero Zingale, has received the award of the Eagle of Saint Wenceslaus.
The Eagle of Saint Wenceslaus is a part of the flag of the Autonomous Province of Trento.
In 1339 the King of Bohemia granted the Eagle of Saint Wenceslas to the Prince Bishop of Trento and when he ceased to be the civil power he transferred it to the autonomous government of the province of Trento, at which time the decoration of Saint Wenceslas was established.
This award received Baron P. Zingale in recognition of his professional dedication.
It is another honor to add to his long list of recognitions: Knight of the Corps of the Nobility of Cantabria, Commander of the Royal Order of Isabella the Catholic, Commander with plaque of the Order of Saint Gregory the Great, Knight of the Sovereign Order of Malta, Knight of the Order of the Holy Sepulcher and Grand Bail of the Order of Saint Lazarus (Gran Baliato di Sicilia), etc.

28.12.2020: This year we sent our letters of introduction of our Corps of Nobility of Cantabria, within our campaign of protocol presentations to the Corps of Nobility of Principality of Asturias (Real Cuerpo de la Nobleza del Principado de Asturias), to the Corps of the Nobility of the Old Kingdom of Galicia (Cuerpo de la Nobleza del Antiguo Reino de Galicia), to Royal Brotherhood of the Holy Chalice of the Valencian Nobility (Real Hermandad del Santo Cáliz, Cuerpo de la Nobleza Valenciana) and Royal Corps of the Nobility of Madrid (Real Cuerpo de la Nobleza de Madrid).

The Most Reverend Juan Carlos Velarde, whose surname Velarde has a distinguished history in Cantabria and among the most noblemen of Santillana del Mar, Archpriest of Collegiate of Santa Juliana in Santillana del Mar, member of the Diocesan Pastoral Council, among many other services to the community, and responsible for the coverage in language Spanish of the travels of His Holiness the Pope on Vatican Radio (Radio Vaticano) in Rome, has added to his list of many and deserved honors and positions that of being Chaplain of the Corps of Nobility of Cantabria and having received our Medal of Honor in recognition of his long trajectory of charitable and assistance services to the most needy and his educational work in teaching.

July 2020: The Balearic Institute of History (El Instituto Balear de la Historia) has had to grant the distinction of Member of Honor to D. Fernando Arnanz y Casla, knight of the Corps of Nobility of Cantabria and to D. Carlos Jaime Gómez y Pozueta, President of the Corps of Nobility of Cantabria.
At the same time, the Corps of the Nobility of Cantabria has awarded its Medal of Honor to the Hon. Mr. Dr. D. Jaime de Ferrá y Gisbert, Director of the Balearic Institute of History and Dr. D. Roberto Martín, responsible for institutional relations of this distinguished institute, thus initiating a goodwill agreement between both institutions that we hope will be extend a long time and from which, without a doubt, many advantages and cultural and social collaborations will arise for the members of such distinguished two institutions.
This adds a new collaboration with a cultural and historical institution to those already established so far, without a doubt our partners will benefit from the participation in cultural and social activity of all our collaborators.

May/June 2020: His Majesty King Felipe VI encourages the nobles to help the most vulnerable.
H.M. King Felipe VI, continuing with tradition of solidarity and consolation of his ancestors, has appealed to the various institutions of nobles and chivalry orders with the aim of joining in helping the most vulnerable. This aid has been coordinated by two cousins of the King, Don Pedro de Borbón Dos Sicilias and Don José Miguel Zamoyski de Borbón. This is how a donation initiative has been launched to deliver long-life milk (UHT), which represents more than 193,000 breakfasts, and some 25,000 liters of extra virgin olive oil, in one-liter bottles for better distribution, to needy families through the Red Cross.
Our corporation has also been actively involved in this humanitarian action to help combat the new coronavir pandemic.
